Holy Schnikes!

Were a bunch of boats off the dam a little ways when we drove by on 1804 this morning. I see why...

Wow, that's a pig! Three times my biggest salmon (not saying much, but I sure had fun boating THAT fish).

Anyhow, this is especially noteworthy when you consider beating the old record by over 6 lbs. What a great day that guy had!

Would have been a real catch next year...

Unless it made it's final run in September and ended up rotting away in Whitlocks Bay LOL!

The lake herring are adding some nice weight to the salmon these days. Not a numbers game of course but good size!

Holy shi'ite. The 'race needs to produce another trout.

So you do that in reverse and thats two state records in one week! Anyone taking bets on the 31 getting beat out at the rate they are going. The fish are going to get hammered with the word spreading like it is.

I know guys fishing and two fish a day is a good day right now. Size is good but it's a big lake and not many fish. They'll be fine.

Doesn't matter, they're doomed anyways. Not like they're going to re-populate!

Funny how how our state record salmon is from the race yet they abandoned all salmon stocking in there many years ago now, must be an expensive stocking program for salmon if that's all they can do is roughly 1/4 mil in the whole system

Nothing since 2011, may have to figure a way for a white spot on the tail fin, then they'd stock em. Don't get me wrong I likes to catch an eat the eyes but they sure are lacking in any other species as far as stocking, must get their info from scheels...if it ain't walleye it don't exist
