Looking into getting one…what does everyone have and use? pros/cons
Will use mostly for hiking…with possible use for hunting…just glanced over what Cabelas had on their website lots of Camelbak products???

Consider an MSR one because the full spot for that screws right on to a water purifier/ filter. I know my Camelback does not.

The only ones I would consider are those that have an open end for cleaning such as the link above.

so would it be a good route to go with the camelbak bag and swap in one of those source pouches???

I have one from the Navy yet. I think it holds 3 gallons of water which is entirely too much for hunting. However, while on the flight line in the central valley of CA during July, 3 gallons wasn't enough.
