What is your preference for personal defence in 9mm? Thanks in advance.

Hornady Critical defense. It'll take down a moose (really, it happened), retains some mass and weight through automotive glass, and won't go through 6 layers of Sheetrock killing the neighbor next door if you have to use it in your home. Another nice thing about Hornady CD rounds is the canelure (sp?) on the bullet. When you load and unload a round many times it starts to push the bullet back into the case causing excessive pressure and potentially leading to "kaboom!" if you fire that round. The canelure gives you a gauge to see if that bullet needs to be removed and thrown out.

Speer Gold Dot would be my 2nd choice.

If you need help chosing a Glock, let me know.

I'm close to Bed Wetter's idea, but since I live in the country I will choose a round that does go through walls. If the sucker tries to hide behind a wall I want to drill him anyway. Sooooooo I will go with something like the 135 gr Critical Duty. I like the old 147 gr Black Talon too. Ya, those are supposed to be all gone. :)

Or, just do what I do, and have 15 in the magazine. That way I don't need to be a good shot.

I'm kidding of course. But I do have 15 in the mag.

First shot Saturday morning, at 25 yards, with G19. Shoulda quit right away, while I was ahead.

I've got a mag with some of those in too Svn. Brother in law did gel testing and they did not suck as far as the wound channel they created.

The size hole you could have put in the "10" with a mag JK.

Target slightly blurred, FRONT SITE clear.

When you get "good" like me:) you'll find you just point and shoot like with a good fitting shotgun not realizing you're actually focusing on the FRONT SITE. Until then; focus on the FRONT SITE.
