Has anyone else noticed the late hatches of birds, the last week I have seen 2 brudes of pheasants that look to have been hatched within days maybe 3 inch tall fuzz balls and then this morning saw a bunch of turkeys in my front yard maybe 6 - 8 inches tall. Seems very late in the season for them to survive the winter.

I think I am on hatch #3 for doves in my yard for the season now too. Just found a young one about an hour ago that must have jumped ship on the nest today can't yet fly and not too bright as to run and hide yet either.

A hen will only have one brood a year, hence if they are that little its a late hatch.
