Hope this doesn't turn into another "Fiasco" thread.

When I left down there, about halfway through weigh-ins, the leader had 19 & change. I should add they had a 6 pound kicker to go with that weight. The fishing was slowly getting better all week long & it seemed most teams had fish to weigh.

This was a well run tournament. The fishing up to the tournament was tough. We thought there would be lots of teams that wouldn't weigh 6 fish but on Saturday the fish turned on. Good job PKC! Now fix the road going to the campground.

Yeah that road sucks. I fish with a county commissioner, and the tax base in Sioux Co. is low due to all the non taxable land. They've talked about paving it and spiting it up with the tribe, but its all been talk.

I hope that my check isn't in my wife name like it says on the list. I guess I should have stuck around but I was at Beaver where there was pavement. Again a very well run tournament, but I wish we all didn't have to pile into the ramp to check in. We should do that out on the river at the pontoon.

Geez, it always that tough down there this time of year?

Yeah, fall bite is just turning on. The system is full of 14-15 inch fish, has been for a few years. Not sure why the tons of 15" from 2 years ago didn't turn into tons of 20" ????????

you're not joking there. I caught a lot of fish that were very small. I'll have to venture further south next time out. I didn't see any tournament boats in hazelton.

I'm sure a third were under bridge, a third by yates, and a third went to state line.

North border was the north shore of the Cannon Ball. Most boats seemed to be spread out between Beaver and Yates. The only big group I heard was in Beaver Bay.

Good to hear you guys enjoyed the tourney and all went well, I myself am done with ever supporting anything for the casino or the tribe south of the Cannonball River. Just a personal choice and all are free to make there own choice. dukgnfsn
