Seen a version of this online and stole the idea.

The plates are AR500 3/8" thick 8" circle, $90 off Amazon for all 4.

Hardware is self explanatory.

Now I'm just waiting for Dirty Mike and JayKay to come out and help me dig post holes. Joking, digging posts and mixing cement are my afternoon plans....

Ping ping ping !!

How much lead actually falls in the tire? What do you then do with it, melt it for jigs?

Wonder how much will get embedded into the rubber?? Please let us know how these work out. I like the concept.

Yeah, but now you have a mini-van in your front yard on jack stands sans tires. Seems counterproductive. (grin)

When I read the topic, I thought for sure this thread would be about protestors.

I love this Norm, looks awesome. When are we gonna try them out?

What if you put another set of chains opposite the existing- you could roll them down a hill and practice a "running" shot.

I'll let you know Rowdy how they work. My intent was a better way to hang plates than how I'm currently doing it. My frames were getting fragged out from bullet splatter, hoping the tire on a post helps slow the damage.

My plate hangers are 10' 5/8" cold rolled bent into a "square U" and sharpened to stick into the ground. Chains welded on, plates hung on chains by S-hooks or steel carabiners.

Happy with my new toys. They seem to catch allot of the bullet parts after impact.
