Son's 2016 Mule Deer

My son harvested his 2016 mule deer on Wednesday afternoon. We feel fortunate for such a nice deer and only after 1 1/2 days of hunting. Saw lots of deer, some nice bucks, beautiful weather and got to do it all with my son. Couldn't get any better!

Yeah I will think of this one for quite a while, he actually graduates from college in December and is moving so this one was extra special. He actually shot that buck with my old Ruger .270 and a Weaver K4 scope, he asked to use it and thought is would be cool to get it with dad's gun.

pluckem, we hunted public land in 4C, we have never had a reason to ask for permission on private as we always seem to see nice deer on the public.
