Thanks everyone AND YES i AM REAL!
I live on a farm just outside of Winnipeg and have a year round house in Matlock , minutes from our work class fishery.
So what do you think of people form Minnesota and Wisconsin?
I have to admit I haven't met any from Wisconsin and the Minnesota guys are a good ( here we go ! ) as all the ND guys I have met.
As of yesterday we had a good 8" of ice across the south basin , heard some reports about it being open in the middle but as I said in my first post I will provide a real time update tomorrow when I see it for myself.
As for the Simpsons reference ... sorry guys don't watch it so over my head !!
How is the fishing down there ? are you on the ice yet?
