Who's going to make the opener this weekend? We're headed to West Battle Lake to give it a shot. Perhaps end up in Detroit Lakes at some point. Water temps are low for this time of year yet, very low 60's. I know the walleye action has been a little off, hopefully the muskies are recovered from the spawn and want to eat.

Can't wait to try out the new 13" Shallow Invader.

Ill be on Leech but usually not a very good early season lake... will still cast a while near spawning areas, have had success in the past early with smaller bucktails . Might pull the boat over to Elk in Itasca SP.

Don't forget to wash your pickle jars before use and to leave as little air at the top as possible. Good Luck Guys!!!
