Old School Bear Bow

Wanting some advice. I have my Dads old bear recurve that he shot when I was 5 or 6 soon to be 49! I was wondering what type of arrow I should shoot, I want to use it this fall. I know he used to shoot old aluminum Eastons. Any help would be great. Thanks.

old school instinctive shooting? broke my teeth on a old Bear and Blackwidow full and semi recurve bows,always shot cedar arrows as I was always broke,old man shot fiberglass arrows,lite poundage 40lb and 44lb draw weight.
