I feel like launching the SS Minnow into a slough and having early season success but I don't know how.

What's the first good bite? Presentation? Location?

The only surefire way to catch walleyes is to declare you are SOLELY targeting drum, carp and maybe pike. It's the double negative. Throws off the fishing gods.

Beyond that, I'm clueless. Obviously.

come pick me up, stating some sort of emergency meeting to cover my end, and we'll give it a go figuring it out together.

What you have to do is first get yourself 12 lbs of salted butter and 3 French vanilla creamers (preferably from a Denny's restaurant) then you need to get the tightest pair of fruit of the loom undies you can squeeze into and 1 long stick

so before you launch the boat you take off all of your clothes and grease up with the butter... now launch the boat and use the stick and fruit of the looms as a pirate flag while you sip yourself some creamers

I will be hitting the sloughs with an old duck boat, it's fun to launch out of a ditch
