After being acquitted of double murder a few days ago, he was found dead in his cell around 3 this morning. Hung himself with his bedsheet. Wow what a waste of talent.

Couldn't agree more, gets to do something most kids dream of and pisses it away on drugs and what he believes was power for him. What a waste of a life and talent. Not a fan of his but for the little I watch football he seemed to be a decent player. dukgnfsn

Was there drugs involved in his downfall? I don't pay attention to football, but if so, if anybody needs another reason to stay away from drugs... this is it.

How many people who seemingly have life by the tail, get mixed up in drugs, and end up in the toilet..?

Sounds like he led a suspect life long before the NFL. One more person to add to the masses that just because you are a pro athlete does not mean you should be automatically looked up to or thought of as a hero.

I don't think he was necessarily on drugs...he was just a thug/wannabe gang banger. You can take the thug out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the thug. Him hanging himself and saving the taxpayers a bunch of money, was about the only good decision he has ever made.

he shoulda hung himself a few months ago and save everybody time and money they wasted on this last trial they had for him. which he was found, not guilty of a double murder. Saw his lawyer say he may have been murdered, but it's his lawyer saying that probably just grabbing more publicity.

I thought the murders and other things in his past related back to drug deals and as stated above gang activity in drugs but I am not 100% positive on that. Either way a waste of a opportunity a lot of people would like to have a shot at. Shows that money isn't always everything.
