I have a couple trees in my yard that don't look like they are doing as good as they should. I don't know what kind of trees they are. They were planted at the house we bought. They are big mature trees that were professionally spade in. The leaves look they are turning brown in spots and drying up. I think they may have frosted early in the year when they were just starting and we got the cold spell??
I am located in the Fargo area.

Does anyone know who to contact that would look at them or know what's going on?
Thanks,

There was a hard frost after many trees were waking up this spring, not much you can do about it right now, shouldnt kill them but might kill back some of the branches and make them look crappy for the rest of the year. Next spring they should rebound,

Maybe check if the city of Fargo has an arborist that would be willing to give you an opinion, or someone at a local nursery. Bismarck has an arborist, and when I was in South Dakota we had someone at a local nursery check out a maple tree that was looking rough.

Cut back any dieing/damaged branches to the next healthy bud/side branch and in a few years, you wont know the difference, if it is just frost damage. A few pictures would help tho....

I feel your pain... I have some very nice and large evergreens that are dying... Just terrible. Spent some cash having them sprayed a few years back and that didnt do it. These are 30 year old evergreens also.
