  3. Sak, about as good as it gets.

Fishing has been and will continue to be pretty amazing on the big lake. Get out and enjoy it if you can! Pretty much anything will work it seems.

  4. Mid Sak

Fished wed-mon fishing was very good, best we did was 20 keepers by 10 am. Most fish came in 15-20 foot, caught them all kinds of ways. Fish are healthy that's for sure! Ramps and parking were a mess.
Dakota waters put on a great fireworks display Saturday night, talk about some great camping weather!

  5. Fishing safari : The river, tschida, Sak

Went south of Bis on Wed, it was windy and cold "water was down to 37 degrees that day..not good". Only Caught two eyes that day about 17-20 inches, it was really hard to pitch with a big bow in your line. Talked to a couple boats and it was tough for them as well. I would think this weekend should be good thou with these warmer temps.

Thurs was a really nice day, fished tschida just for something to do. Again just two eyes in that 14-15 inch range, couldn't buy a smallie. Water was gin clear and 46 degrees.

Fri was as nice a day as you could make, no wind ...

  7. Mid Sak day on the lake

Well we put in at Beaver this morning, 5 of us in the boat so I knew I had my work cut out for me if we were to take home a limit. Hit one spot in beaver I like, not a bite. Went over to Nishu tried two spots and one 16 incher. Started heading west, hit about 8 spot till we hit the beacon and not another fish. Crossed over to Mckenzie and hit a couple spot on our way north to the Cross and caught just three more.
Heck with it, bypassed the slides and headed to the pouch point area. Found fish in that 15-20 foot range, and caught quite a few until it slowed. Jumped over to the south side ...
