  1. salmon on the Lake Post #6

    Hey guys,

Thanks for all the information and discussion. With how the salmon bite is, it sounds like we all can use all the info we can get. We only got one on Sunday with a couple other releases and it was blue on blue at 85' Sounds like a lot of the fish that were landed on Sunday were caught in that range somewhere but heard of some as shallow as 55-60 and as deep as 105'. Also heard of a couple caught on the dam long lining cranks over 30-35' pulling cranks down about 20-25'. I probably wont get out much because of outage at work but may be able to get out a couple of evenings. ...

    Hey guys,

salmon have still been very slow for me and there were only 30 fish caught in the tournament and 29 of the 49 boats never caught any. There was some lightning Friday morning early and a lot of guys have told me that that messes with the salmon. Has anyone had any descent luck or any of the more experienced salmon fishermen have any idea from years past have any idea what is going on with the salmon?

  4. Salmon on the Lake Post# 4

Finally caught mi first one on Sunday. Been hearing that some guys are doing OK now. Hopefully they are going to go now. Have heard of fish being caught all times of day it seems. Been hearing depths of anywhere from 75-95 feet. Will give it a go this weekend if Mother Nature cooperates.

  6. Salmon on the Lake Post#2

Was up at the lake on Friday and Saturday, the weather was beautiful both days. About 6 boats I could see on Friday and about 12-15 when I left at 11 on Saturday. I didn't have much luck, nothing Friday and lost one on Saturday. I heard there were a couple boats that did OK and I did mark substantially more fish then the previous weekend. Hopefully they are gonna go soon.

  8. Salmon on the lake

    Hey Guys!

Heard a rumor that there are a few guys fishing salmon on the lake with Riggers already? Has anyone seen or heard of anybody doing this yet? Seems pretty early to me. The last couple of years we have been starting after the 4th but as usual it picks up the later it gets. I have talked to some older guys that have said they used to chase them around the whole time that there was open water. Just curious if anyone has heard this at all.

  9. Salmon Reports

Any Salmon reports at all from the lake. Has been pretty quiet lately which means fishing is usually not good. Any reports at all will be helpful. Been a tough year.

  10. Salmon

Fished out of Government Bay on Saturday from Government to Dead man's and picked up two. one was a couple pounds and the other was 6 or 7. both were 80-85' with yellow flashers and white and white w/green needle squid about 8-10' behind the ball running 1.9-2.1mph. Talked with some other guys that had caught a few. I think they are just starting up.
