  1. New Town

Fished a little south, points along channel yesterday evening. 15 to 20', crawlers, blade color did not seem to matter. 15 -18" and did not have to weed through many little ones. Slow but steady bite

  3. New Town

Been casting cranks from west of bridge to south of Bear Den, 3 to 10' best. Lots of smaller fish with a few nicer ones thrown in. Best color has been a pink lemonade Flicker Shad from DH Custom Baits. They just can't seem to help themselves.

Water temps mid to upper 60s

  7. New Town

Trolled cranks past weekend around New Town from Antelope Flats, Sanish to Little Knife and points well south. Just did not seem to matter much where. Greens, whites and purples; also caught fish on spinners with minnows. Reef Runner 600 series hands down best producer. Caught fish 4 foot to 18; 9-12' seemed best.

  9. New Town

Went west in a friend's new boat yesterday evening, pulled minnows with spinners and tossed jigs. Kept 10 eyes, 15 to 23" fish and caught a few in the 10" range. 6-12' of water was best, as soon as the breeze stoped, fish moved out and bite slowed. Caught a couple white bass and a 5 pound carp on a crank- pink lemonade custom painted if yer in to that sort of thing!

Took a couple friends from work to Van Hook this morning, ended up with 9 on jigs and minnows. Ranged from 14 to 24" 6 to 15 feet was best. Had to settle for morning, was a little nippy this morning and fish were more active by early afternoon when we left. Pink jig heads were best.

  11. Tobacco Garden

Fished 3 to 6 this afternoon, marked a few fish and had one on briefly on a buckshot spoon. Lots of people out, there is a road plowed out a ways around the point. If you do not have something with tracks, getting anywhere is pretty tough.
