This summer will be my 10th aniversary with my wife. She wants to go to a bed and breakfast. Anyone know one with a view and a couple things to do? She doesn't care to fish at all.

You can never go wrong with St. Augustine, Fla. You both can drink horrible water, maintain youth and catch cobia off the pier with swimbaits. Bring your Wingwall gear. There's also good hamburgers and salads.

We stayed here. Great people, was mostly retired folks passing through that stayed there when we where there. We both enjoy hiking in the badlands and taking in the musical. It is located SW of Medora about 5-10 miles, which was good for me because I don't enjoy the touristy part of Medora at all. If I have to go into town I just sit in a bar while she shops.

A Seminole (he said anyway) at the native village who was putting on the archery display let me shoot his homemade bow and arrows. Not bad actually. The old Blunderbuss was neat, but the cannon was kind of cheese.

Yoby if you like scenery and not to many tourists I can relate. I have been in 49 states and still prefer the mountains to any beach. I just don't get what beauty is in water and sand. Anyway, it's tough to beat the Bighorn Mountains near Burgess junction. Go check out the Medicine Wheel, then keep going west and take a boat ride through the deep canyons of the upper Yellowtail. Do a little fly fishing. Check out Shell Creek Canyon. Enjoy all the moose you will see before the wolves invade. Rent a nice 4X4 a couple miles south of Burgess junction at Elk View Lodge and enjoy some backcountry. Check out some of the neat campgrounds like Dead Swede. I don't remember the names, but there are a number of bed and breakfast in the Burgess Junction area. Bear Lodge may have some right at their property.

I guess I should have mentioned, we were planning on doing a decent trip, cruise, mexico, some sort of resort. That all changed since now she can't drink and won't be able to physically do some of the things we were planning (she caught a 9 month flu). So this will be more of a ND, SD, MN, MT or even Canada thing.

The Medora thing might just be the ticket. Thanks!
