Started Friday morning off of Grahams island on the old Ziebachs Pass road in 18' of water. Dead sea there, hardly even marked any fish. Packed up Sat morning and after talking to Kyle at Woodland we moved to Creel to a spot they had been catching fish the day before. The fish were there but could not get them to bite. Was hard to be mobile when its -23 out. We ended up with one jumbo perch and 4 dink walleyes coming out of '42 of water. I think Ted put some bad juju on my ice house.

    Also, all ice we found was around 20", should be at least 2 feet by Wed

    Similar story for us as well. Friday night set up off the casino trees. Didn't even mark a fish. Saturday fished the basins while marking tons of fish, but could only get a fraction to bite. From what I heard the walleye but was nearly nonexistent, probably due to the front.

    Did anyone try the Bushnell fish locator that Allen has been talking up?

    Too cold for the Bushnell locator, no one was fishing outside.

    Best thing to do when Ice fishing devils lake is to load up and leave . Head to stump or south to some smaller lakes and sloughs and catch fish devils lake is Dead Sea in winter time for 9 outta every 10 fisherman , unless U go guided then it only sucks 6 of 10 tens
