Hook to the River

We put in at Parshall, poked around the hook, then the Pouch area, and the Independence Point area, but had trouble getting the fish to go, so we worked our way up river. We eventually got into some fish, but not until we got to the Huntsalong/Reunion Bay area. We were trolling jigs, and trolling lindy's with minnows. Both produced fish. We found them in the 25 fow range. It was pretty windy where we were, so we ended up moving at .8 to sometimes over a mile per hour.
Not the best day ever, but I think we managed a dozen 'eyes or so, a handful of white bass, a few pike, 3 nice catfish, and a rare (for me on Sak) crappie.

Water temps at the hook were 51 or so, and where we caught fish the temps were 55-56.

Hoping this upcoming week of warm weather fires things up.
