Fished New Town Friday 9/3 - put in at the casino ramp, ran south to Diamond Head...trolled south from DH. Pulled spinners with crawlers both live and artificial. Fish were stacked 22 to 26 fow - chartruse/orange colors were best. Had 8 in the box by 1000 - switched over to cranks. Pulled #7 flicker minnows with snap weights - caught 6 or 7 more. 10 in the box by noon...headed back to ramp. Water temps 66 degrees at 0730...69 degrees when got off water at 1230. Enjoy the last few months of open water gents - fish on!

I'm new to snap-weights. What size do you use for trolling those flicker minnows?
    Good report - thanks!

    I use 1 1/2 oz...seems to be good weight to get #5s and 7s down to 25 - 30 fow quickly...work great.
