Van Hook - Jig Bite

Lake Sakakawea is on fire! Especially the Van Hook Arm. The amount of 16"-20" fish is unreal, and a good number of the over 20", as well. Friday, we tried to get out before the wind, but it ended up catching us. We were able to spot lock on a nice pod of walleye and have some success. Most of our fish, as of late, have been in the 8-13 fow range, and we have been on a good minnow bite.

Fished Saturday and Sunday as well. Same story, same program, for us. Cruise around until we side image a pod of fish, spot lock, start pitching.

Water temp is in the 62 range in the mornings.

Made it and did not partake in minnows. Slow deaths and cranks. They didnt seem to want spinners. Nothing under 16 inches
