Fished Tuesday through Thursday last week. Bite was still great. Crawler in 15 to 18 feet worked for us. Dead calm Thursday morning and still caught 20 nice fish in 2 hours. Our largest was 25 inch release. We had 12 between 18 and 21 inches Thursday. Smallest we kept was 16 1/2. Healthy fish loaded with smelt. Friend fished Saturday and had same success. He said there were 30 boats on Independence Island all catching fish. Going up tomorrow again.
