Was at fleet farm the other day and had an aneurysm, stroke, mild heart attack, an embolism, all followed by a fairly significant wallet seizure. A 26 oz can of folgers decaf (the coffee of Mrs. KDM) was $23 compared to a month ago or so when it was $15. Tariffs are hitting my morning routine a bit harsh as of late. I might have to join her in caffeine withdrawal therapy and attend coffee drinkers anonymous. WOW!! That price tag shock is going to hurt this old grey beard. Carry On!!

Your experience is what I feel like when I look at buying anything anymore. I used to think I was stuck 20 years ago in my head with prices. Now take that times inflation and I nearly crap a brick every time I make a purchase!

Bad thing is, they now know they can get the prices that they are getting so it will never go down again. Crooks . . .

I get up way before the wife so I always make the coffee. She always complains that I make it too strong. Once I get done making my coffee, I make another 1/2 pot for her using the same grounds. I'm frugal like that.
OR…..

You could drink half the pot and then just fill it back up with hot water
