Hundred walleye days in a boat are not unusual on the Cranberry Lake Chain in northern Manitoba. We kept hearing about this incredible walleye fishing and had to check it out. This is the place to get your walleye fishing fix if you are really mad at the fish.
Classic Canadian Shield walleye fishing with jigs and frozen shiners. Vertically jigging right below the boat. Used the Lowrance Active Target to watch fish come through. The number of fish we could see was mind blowing. Fished out of Viking Lodge located near Cranberry Portage on Cranberry Lake.
Besides walleye, we also targeted big pike and lake trout. Great Manitoba fishing destination to catch walleye, northern pike and lake trout on the same water. Beautiful undeveloped lake on the Grass River System. Incredible walleye fishing located between The Pas and Flin Flon, Manitoba.
