How many graphs is to many? Is there such a thing as to many? What do you run on each graph? I'm planning on going with one for mapping, one for side scan, one for chirp and down. So 3 on the dash and one up front connected to the trolling motor. I have a 10 and 3 9’s to work with As well as livescope bundle.

I got 2 birds, 1 lowrance, 1 garmin in my boat and use them all. All have a specific purpose

Depends how you fish and how big of graphs! I don’t have any live sonar otherwise I’d have 2 graphs on the front. 2 on the dash is enough for me, but I also haven’t spent thousands on the newest graphs.

If you can buy them, should anyone else care?? This tech revolution only makes me sad for the kids who are just trying to get into a boat. I paid 1700 for a boat and used a handheld gps for several years. Was absolutely tickled when I found a used Lowrance 332c to run on the boat. I fished a lot more then but that setup caught more fish than my newer rig. Nearly every article you read in in fisherman is tech tech tech. Kind of daunting for someone who just wants to go fishing.

That said, I’d take your setup in a heartbeat.

Seems like I caught way more fish using a silent 60 flasher back 30 years ago then I do today with the fancy graphs. Newer technology is nice and all but hasn't really made me a better fisherman. That said currently have an 1159 bird in the dash and an 859 on the bow.

Honestly no reason to get serious about fishing unless your using 8-10 graphs. Leaving the dock already at a disadvantage if not.

A 12 and a 10 on the dash for me. An 8 up front and a 7 in the back. I’d like to upgrade my 8 to a 12 and my 7 to a 10, eventually.

I also run my livescope on a Garmin 10, built into a shuttle, so I can move it around the boat.

This will be the first year with more than one graph in the boat. Will have a Lowrance Elite 7 and a 93sv UHD with Livescope in a 16 ft tin can. Excited to see what I can learn!

I've seen guys with paralysis by analysis with too many graphs in the boat. Seems like they spend hours watching the screen without a rod in the water. I've outfished them with an inferior electronic setup due to lure time in the water.

If your not running a flat screen tv sized graph off your dash,, dont even bother fishing, not even worth it, just stay home to watch tv.. lol

Nor is fishing that big of a part of my life I guess.

I have a 7 inch Lowrance on the front, and an 8 on the dash, so far they have helped me catch fish.

I have a helix 12 and 7 on my dash. I strictly run mapping on the 7 and show the water temp on there. On the 12 I run SI/DI/Sonar depending on depth and situation. Works well for me. I have a 7 on the front of my boat but rarely fish up there so it doesn't get turned on much.

Not sure what the dash is like on your boat but fitting 3 graphs may be interesting.
