There won’t be a deer left in 3f2 if they continue with the “extra” 800 some odd tags….. keep an eye on this…… if it’s the units that are “for cwd control” they can kiss my ass when they try to claim cwd is affecting the herd…. Bullshit, they are blatantly using overharvesting in these units instead of “sharpshooters”

If you look at ONX maps at Bismarck there are at least 2 residential houses E-Posted the corner of Bell & Lincoln, A House on West Sweet, 1 condo unit of a 8 unit building on N Washington St. and 1 condo unit of a 48 unit building on off of N 1st st All are E-Posted. I am sure there are more if one was to look into it.

This is their scheme…. Im telling you guys now. Keep an eye on this….. They are claiming cwd may affect the herd…. So they want to kill off these areas…. They didn’t rule out herd reduction through culling…….What a fkn joke. They are either claiming to reduce the population to slow the spread or they will try to use the reduced numbers because of overharvest of deer as a “look at what cwd is doing to the numbers” agenda driver…..when in reality there is extreme and overzealous overharvesting taking place…… I fucking see you game and fish…..

After last season I hope no one puts in for 3f2 extra does…… they are trying to eradicate the deer down there in the name of “cwd” just watch…. In a few years they’ll want to blame the “mule deer decline” on CWD. Also for my slow kids in the back of the class…. If doe harvest doesnt affect the population….. then why give extra doe tags to decrease the population?

Also, remember that time the game and fish told us “we don’t allocate tags specifically for cwd”…… like straight up bold faced lied to the public….. yea me too. I remember it well enough to keep receipts…..

You live down there….. you see it daily…. Is the population high enough there to warrant “extra tags”? The times I’ve spent down there the deer numbers look really bad…..

I'm 50, I have 5 points after this yr. There's a better than average chance I'll be retired by the time I draw another muzzle-loader tag. I guess I'll at least have plenty of time to put into it then......

I didn't get out enough last year to really know but ya don't see many while driving. I believe you are correct in determining the reason for the high tag numbers. Where I hunted there were plenty of mules I'd say. I'm thinking of having the wife get a rez tag this year then I'll put in a few more weeks of checking out other areas. Haven't been to the SD side in a few years.
