27 June-4th of July, Veterans Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, President’s Day, Columbus Day, Arbor Day, Cnco De Mayo, Super Bowl Sunday, Daytona, Stanley Cup Finals, May Day, Indy 500, World Series, and Wrestlemania should be the only days fireworks are allowed. Unless I forgot some days.

I forgot D-Day, Pearl Harbor, the Day Japan signed their surrender, the end of WWI, the end of WWII, Election Day, and Inauguration Day. Maybe Teacher’s Vacation and Spring Break too. 9/11 and the Alamo.
You forgot opening day of deer rifle season. That day didn't require a note from your parents when you weren't in school. They just knew.

Im not anout taking away anyone’s fun or freedom but when that affects me in a negative way I have an issue. It’s cost me the money for meds for my dog. While at work she used to stay outside in her run. 2 years ago she freaked out while I was at work from fireworks and chewed/clawed through a chain link fence…blood all over her face and missing teeth.. her face is still scarred up. I can make arrangements for a few days of knowing fireworks will happen but to expect people to have to alter their normal lives for two weeks is burdensome to a lot of people. Now add in the fucking duschbags out here thay randomly light one off in a random night at 1am in February or may….. fun is fun, being a duschbag is different.
The dog thing, that’s a “You” problem, not a “Everyone within my dog’s hearing range problem”.

You could of course train the dog, people do it all the time w/gunshy hunting dogs, but it’s way easier to bitch.

1lessdog, you’ll get 0 argument from em that people have become Way too prone to littering. Look @ the ground in front of ANY business within 30’ of the door, ciggie butts everywhere. I’ve never lived in the country but I spend enough time in gravel to see a LOT of garbage in the ditches, it’s awful.

Had a littoral dumpster fire @ the campground last night and a few years back in the campground when picking up our exploded remnants a fire started in the box of my buddies pickup. A person oughta have a significant amount of water and/or a couple-few extinguishers if you’re not where both are readily available, some of that stuff can stay hot a long time.

We did, and we all agree that you should stop acting like a fuckin faggot. Leave your dog inside and fish for your stupid fuckin crappies you homo.
😂 plenty of people agree with me, also my dog shouldn’t have to be locked inside from the end of June, to the end of July. I specifically took him on the 1st since I thought no one would launch fireworks 4 days early.(these are the only 2 days I should have to keep my dog inside)

Right… it is a me problem. But it’s a fairly common problem with a pretty substantial amount of people. It’s not isolated to just a “me” problem. How about the hundreds of thousands of veterans who suffer from ptsd? Is that a “them” problem too? You’re right… fuck them and the freedom they fought for so you to have the freedom to say “fuck them and their problems”. Somewhere after 9/11 humans lost all decency and regard for other humans.

Two cans ,one fits snugly into the other cut the ends off put a little water in the bottom can and drill a hole in top of other one that a black jack bottle rocket fits snug in. Push it almost all the way into the hole and light it, the top can will fly 100' feet in the air.

Your dog isn’t a veteran. Your dog’s life isn’t equivalent to anything any veteran has ever done. Your dog doesn’t have rights. There’s nothing about dogs or any other pets, service animals, draft horses, oxen, mules, plow horses, or any other critter in the bill of rights or the constitution.

You say people have lost all regard for other humans. I say your pets are less important than any law abiding human. Too many people have anthropomorphized their pets and seem to think they’re people.

If your dog is barking, any PERSON within earshot has a legitimate bitch. Your dog being afraid of fireworks, that’s a “you problem”. See how that works, your pet doesn’t get to infringe on anyone else’s freedom, and nobody has to curtail their freedom for your pet, because it’s a pet.

Yeah I gave up making my own firework combinations after a double mortar almost hit everyone watching the fireworks in my driveway and hit the back wall of my garage

So my freedom and liberty are worth less than a veteran? This isn’t about my dog you fucking idiot. It’s about the amount of strain it puts on individuals in this position. I could give a rats ass about my dogs feelings. I got the bitch to hunt. It’s a tool. I realize a pet is a goddamn pet. Talk to me like Im not a fkn liberal. Ive killed a lot of animals. I barely care about humans feelings let alone an animals feelings. My gripe isnt about my dog. It’s about the time and fucking stress i deal with because of it. And yes my dog is trained 100% not to bark. I trained that out of her the first year I got her because no neighbors of mine should have to deal with a dog that barks. I wish others would do the same but unfortunately since they don’t seem to see an issue with it dont care. Seems to be a theme here. Do the assholes that light fireworks also have dogs that bark uncontrollably? The issue here isnt about “freedom” or not. Freedom only grants you the choice and ability to do something of your choosing. You are free to make the choice to break a law. You can choose to not show respect. You can choose to kneel for the flag. Freedom gives you choice…. Thats it. Theres still something called respect and decency which thanks to freedom a person also has the choice to refrain from or not. Freedom doesnt give you the right to do something “because it’s legal” and not be a fucking tool. Im guessing we will see something out into law in Burleigh county soon. As I can promise you theres a lot of people that deal with the issue and most I know aren’t “non freedom lovers”

3 years ago we were in a fire ban over the 4th of July….. did anyone feel less free? Did anyobe of you pyromaniacs bitch of not being free? Did the world stop because you couldn’t light fireworks off for two weeks? Just curious as to why so many are absolutely hypnotized by tubes of gunpowder and coloring marked up at 300-500% if you truly think you need fireworks to celebrate the 4th you’re probably dumb enough to believe Christmas is actually about Santa

Nothing shows American freedom like buying Chinese fireworks taxed way higher than they ever were under British rule 🙄
