Look at Korkers Boots. Not magnetic but swappable insoles. I have had 2 different pairs of winter boots over the years and the small spikes are legit on ice, the BOA lace up first then the slip on rubber/neoprene (Muck style)I think someone should invent removable soles that are attached to your shoes with heavy earth magnets. When its icy put on soles with carbide inserts in the soles and when its dry you could remove those and put on soles without.
Could you imagine the price 🫣I think someone should invent removable soles that are attached to your shoes with heavy earth magnets. When its icy put on soles with carbide inserts in the soles and when its dry you could remove those and put on soles without.
No im thinking the removable soles on a decent pair of danners or rockys would be comparable to a pair of slip on ice cleats now. Earth magnets arent expensive at all to make, i wonder what the price tage is foe the shoes above areCould you imagine the price 🫣
They only problem I foresee is difficult removal, if they're strong enough to withstand "work".No im thinking the removable soles on a decent pair of danners or rockys would be comparable to a pair of slip on ice cleats now.
