Seems like the ND-SD border area is really getting drenched today - kfyrtv had someone call in with a report of 10" and that was before 6 PM.

Nothing measurable in N central ND if we don't get any tommorow the pastures are F'ed if they aren't already

I had to pull off the interstate by Jamestown yesterday due to rain and hail so bad I couldn’t see. Never had to do that before.

Got just under a inch in LaMoure. Took about 6hrs to get that much so there wasn’t any run off.

I sure wish we could get one of those 3 day soaker rains we used to get as a kid many years ago.
Looked like south Bismarck was getting way more rain than we got in north Bismarck yesterday. We don't have a gauge up yet.

15 south of Jamestown I had 1.30" from 5pm last night until this morning. I would guess I had at least .70 yesterday morning through the afternoon before I got my new gauge set up

2" of soaking rain in Fort Yates. Nice all nighter, not a quick downpour.

My north Bismarck gauge showed a little over an inch a few minutes ago............but then again, maybe it lies.:)

this is why i never cry for rain in end of may till middle of july. 1976 -- i remember too well.

Lake hiddenwood here is washed out. Buildings and houses got washed of foundations 9 plus inches in places it has been a crazy morning

i dont know about 76 but i know 2002 to 2007 it never rained. i would rather walk in mud than eat dust
