    Lake Winnipeg Fishing gear

Just bring it with. There are areas near ridges where you may need it. They take up basically zero space so why not have it with at all times?

    Fishing Diary

I started in 2020. I just use the Notes app on my iPhone. Date, lake, general location, who was with me and how we did. Is there an app that would work better? I would like to get in the habit of recording more details. I reference this very often and find the info quite valuable.

    30-30 again.

I bought a Winchester 94 that was made in 1949 about 10 years ago because I thought they were cool. Shot about 1/2 a box of shells through it and it's been sitting in the back of the safe ever since. I take it out about once a year to fondle it. Cool old gun and increasing in value.

    Collectibles

22's. Have a pretty wide variety but vintage tubefed are what I'm really in to. Mostly pumps, levers, semi-autos. Remington, Winchesters, Marlins.

    Tech schools and college ND

I've worked with a ton of them over the years and for the most part this is very accurate. Very smart, very awkward!

    Jackrabbit Drives of the Past

as a rimfire enthusiast, that would have been a lot of fun hunting! Nothing like this obviously, but in the mid-late 90's I remember there being quite a few jacks around. Shot a ton of them bastards back then.

    Boat Cover

I'm about due for a new cover for my Ranger as well. Anyone have experience with Finest Auto Trim in GF? I've had them work on a couple other projects for me and was very happy but have not heard of anyone getting a boat cover made there.

Anybody been up north yet? Hoping to make my first trip of the season in a couple weeks. Reports indicate easy travel and good fishing so far.

    Winter Vacations

Discovery Cove is really nice. They limit how many people can enter so it doesn't feel crowded. food and drinks were icluded with ticket price. Also, I think you get a free ticket to Sea World with your pass. at least back in 2014 when I was there you did.

    Smoking babyback ribs

Same but I do 2-2-1. I also wrap each rack in two layers of foil. Do you just throw them in one big ass disposable pan and foil the top? That sounds much easier.

    Costco VS Sam's Club

I stopped at Costco in Fargo yesterday at about 5:30 while passing through. My wife got us a membership a couple months ago but this is my first time visiting. I felt like cattle being herded through the store. I grabbed a couple thing then got the hell out of there. I don't tolerate crowds very...

    Lake Winnipeg Fishing gear

There is a lot of good info including reports on FB if you are a user. Multiple FB groups with a lot of activity to get a feel for how/where the bite has been. Also, Smoke-N-Fish in Selkirk is a good place to get your bait and a report. If I am going completely blind, I typically head towards...
