    Lake Winnipeg Fishing gear

I've spent a stupid amount of money on lipless cranks and spoons only to use the same few every damn time. DH Snooty Patooty and a Live Target are my favorite cranks. I like pelican spoons. Blue is my favorite. Gold works well too. That lake can be incredibly hard on equipment so be prepared. I...

Just pulled the trigger on a Leer 100XL. Should have it in 4-6 weeks. I liked the ARE Z2 but it was a few hundred more plus I wasn't able to get it locally (unless I overpaid) so intall and future service wasn't as convenient. I ruled out the ARE CX Revo which was in my price range but read many...

This just seems wrong to me. I haul a lot of fuel cans and although rare, on occasion splash a little fuel on the bed unintentionally. Not to mention any other random thing that I wouldn't want to be absorbed into carpet. I live on about 2 miles of gravel so drive a fair amount of it.

Bert's in EGF. Older guy gave me some crazy high pricing over the phone so I ruled them out.

my 21 F150 has a pretty defined "whale tail". The Leer has a flat rear window but has a built in plastic piece attached to the bottom that is molded to fit over the top of the tailgate to protect against what you describe. The ARE CX Revo model has a "bubble" rear window which follows the...

ARE is back in the mix after getting more favorable pricing from Fargo Line-X. Does anyone have first hand experience with the CX Revo model? I believe it is fairly new. I have it narrowed down between that or the Leer XL which gets bonus point for being available locally in GF.

I'm also interested in the Decked system. Can you elaborate a little more on what you didn't like about it? Any others here have a Decked system and care to comment? Thanks

    Pickup toppers

I've had toppers on work truck with flip up side windows and they were very handy. My last personal truck had the frameless side windows that do not flip up and that is what I prefer for my personnel truck. They look much nicer IMO. I rarely have to crawl my fat ass in there to retrieve...

I agree. I tend to hang on to vehicles for quite a while so a little easier pill to swallow. If I traded trucks every 2-3 years it would probably be out of the question for me. Finding a used one is tough on a body style that has only been out for 2 years. To get it painted to match would...

    Pickup toppers

Looking for a topper for a 2021 F150 (6.5' box). Had a Leer on my last pickup that I bought used on the cheap. I prefer the look of the frameless side windows. Open to suggestions on make/models and dealers. These things have gotten incredibly expensive! Closer to GF the better. thanks

I need some wood working ideas

These back scratchers are pretty easy to mass produce for Christmas presents. I made about 30 of them a few years ago to give to friends and family. Length is about 20" and made out of oak.
