    guess on the mo fishing

    I think you're brainless.

    Blues vs. Blackhawks

Not a Hawks fan either, but definitely agree. There's been some very suspect refereeing in the playoffs thus far.

Good Map/Source of info on Lake Sakakawea???

I hope you have a good sized rig. That's a LONG haul on that portion of lake with a little wind.

Question of Devils Lake elevation pits farming versus fishing

In reply to making it work: You guys can do your hoping and praying for water just like everybody on the western half of the state. We shouldn't have to share, mostly because of all those bastard southern states who already think they need all the water. I should add, Devils Lake is a true...

Last night I was thinking about fishing, as I often do...

I've been fishing for as long as I can remember (6-7 years old). I have my grandfather, my uncle, and my own father mostly to thank for that. All almost always willing to take me along (I was a pretty damn good fisherman at one time, my success has fallen aback as I'm becoming older). I spent...

    51-plus-inch DL pike???

Agree. That's a giant fish, but in my opinion she doesn't have the belly to make 37 and change. I don't want to take anything away from the fish, because I would be MORE than happy to catch it, but I too think she'd have come up shy of the record.

Hook sets that make you go "DAMN"

I'll give a couple of those guys one thing, they don't have to worry about the barb. Other than that, I'm pissed I looked at this.

    Big-ass Handguns

Had a roommate who bought a 45-70 Mosin nagant and he thought it was just the baddest gun because he could put a bayonet on it. Then he shot it offhand for the first time. Never heard another word about that gun.

New to bow fishing and could use some advice

I love seeing those doofuses squirm when someone posts a pic of a pile of carp going to fertilizer!

    Closing of Graner Bottoms ramp.

The people who control the dam couldn't give the least of a worry to the status of the walleye spawn in ND. Will it affect fish, yeah, will it affect the fishery long term, no.

    3 Way rig wirh cranks

Same tactics here. Not so much a cast as a low lob just to get a bunch of line out so the rig can sink before you're through the strike zone. 3 oz. for trolling cranks, 1 oz. in the race.

    3 Way rig wirh cranks

My my thoughts exactly. I have run a three way both fishing the tailrace (that was with a bottom bouncer) and pulling cranks on Oahe in SD. Learned it one summer in Mobridge from a guy who was having a lot of success catching fish. Sure changed the game for me.

    Fishing scent

The scent spray, not a big believer. That Berkeley goo will catch trout faster than you can take them off the hook on the right days.

Question for you "Lead Heads" out there.

I must have donated adulterated metal. My bad.

Boeser and Gersich called MN rejects in this facebook rant by Jeff Dubay and others

Every single team that could have potentially played Quinnipiac would have been after Anas, that's the part her leaves out. Also, he returned after leaving the ice two times and finished the game. His choice. I give the kid props for coming back, but he knew what he was skating into.

    Shad vs ...

I would be more hesitant to call fishing crank baits a type of "matching a hatch". When I think of matching a hatch I think of fly fishing because you are trying to imitate an invertebrate that is naturally moving in flowing water - whether it's on top of the water, floating in the water column...

Landing Net - Best Bang For The Buck

Right? Two of the boats I fish from regularly have them. The third boat also had one, until an unnamed, inexperienced angler (my aunt) left it setting in the wrong place and it went overboard.
