Anybody shooting a few and willing to spare a few primary wing feathers?

    Crimmins WPA

Public access is via a section line from the east, I would say that’s probably snowed in pretty good. There is a spot where the lake abuts the road to the north of the public access, but parking there could be tough - regardless of that the north end of the lake is pretty shallow.

    Shock Absorbing Boat Seats

I understand what you are saying, however seat will be for an individual who does drive his boat very carefully (never beats the crap out of his rig) but is aging and has some low back pain at times. Just thinking about trying to make his trips as comfortable as possible.

    Venison sausage smoking without casing

Curious if anyone knows of a method that you can utilize to smoke your venison sausage that doesn’t involve casing the meat. Would be a pretty standard venison/pork mix with spices and such. Not really interested in liquid smoke, would love a real deal wood fired smoke but don’t care for the...

    Shoulder injuries

See a good shoulder physical therapist for 6-8 weeks, do as they ask and do the exercises they ask you to. If it’s not feeling better by then you could get some imaging done. The fact of the matter is, most individuals who are active have some junk going on in their body, be it their spine...

    Sock liners

    Favorite cold or flu symptom

Never had the true joy of loosing fluids from both ends at the same time, however I think those chills you get that not even a scalding hot shower can cure, yep those are my favorite.

    Thoughts on recurves?

My brother is looking into getting a bow to shoot for fun around his yard, a caveat is that his girlfriend would like to shoot as well. I told him the best thing to look into would be a recurve bow if two individuals were going to actively shoot. I know recurve bow draw weight essentially...

Tell them to knock it off, none of that should happen until I’m back in November. Thanks.

    Boot shopping

Looking now, I see that most of these boots are uninsulated. I guess with being mostly mobile that doesn’t worry me as much, but there’s a lot of time spent glassing. Anyone have experience in pretty cold conditions with uninsulated boots?

    Boot shopping

Looking into a new pair of boots, will be used to cover a lot of ground between upland game hunting and spot/stalk deer hunting. I’ve had leather boots in the past and even with regular leather conditioning the boots seem to break down pretty quickly, wear through the toe, and/or begin falling...

    Binocular Harness

I often do a lot of crawling and moving in hazardous manners to my equipment. I would like them to be safely attached to me in some way in the event they get pulled out of the chest pack for whatever reason.

    Binocular Harness

Frosty.... and JMF I was looking at the Kuiu pack, but didn't love that while the binoculars are attached (which I like) once they are out of the pack for use, only the strap around the chest supports the actual pack, just seems funky to me I guess. I like the Alaska pack, but then the...

    Binocular Harness

Looking for a good binocular harness, preferably one that fully encloses your binos to hold them snug to your chest but easy enough to pull out in a cinch. Best would be something that fits a few sizes of binoculars 10x42 AND 10x50. Anyone had good success with a specific setup?

    Sandy flesh walleyes

Like muscular dystrophy in humans I believe its genetic. Would be interesting to know if it affects one sex of fish more greatly than the other, like some muscular dystrophies.

    Chest waders

I have worn both neoprene (bootfoot) and goretex (stockingfoot - Simms G3) waders and unfortunately can tell you that neither is bulletproof. If you plan to wear your goretex waders out to the duck pond, sit in them, kneel, walk through the brush, etc, etc. you will be significantly disappointed...
