Try not to do that, you can see some really cool little sparrows if you play close enough attention. The differences are sometimes very minute, but that's kind of what makes it cool to me, but yeah sparrows can get a little cumbersome.
You probably have more dark eyed juncos than you think. There are a couple of different regional variations and you'll see atleast three in ND. Slate, oregon, and gray-headed juncos.

Saw a booth at the MN state fair for Venom Floats. Basically instead of cutting your foam bobbers they make adjustable bobbers for different weight tackle. Pretty ingenious little rigs. Also, they have some new glow terminal tackle that will glow for upwards of 30-45 min depending on the color...
I wouldn't throw eggs. A big white streamer would probably work as well as anything. Have to think a big white sculpzilla or sex dungeon ought to do the job. Tie it with a little crystal flash or some flashabou and it might be even better.
I don't know what the water situation is up at Sak this year but if you are going to use the original ramp in the back of the bay you have to get out quite a ways before you give her the gusto. As previously stated stick to the channel for as long as you can follow it.
