    Introducing a fish to a lake (reintroduction or not) as forage is a WHOLE different ball game than introducing a fish to be a game fish (i.e. stocking walleyes).

    The reason the fish are tagged is so they can be caught and reported. That's the whole idea of the study. It's not long-term, its simply studying seasonal movements.

    I know this has been hashed out before, but just so everyone is aware NOT every tagged fish is a reward fish. If the fish you catch has a tag that reads REWARD $100 on it, you are in the money. If your fish has only a phone number and tag number, then unfortunately the tag isn't worth any money...

    Yep. Just be sure you have line that comes off the spool nearly resistance free. Without it, an 1/8 oz. jig won't go very far.
