    Minnkota Repairs DYI

    How many of you have taken apart the lower end of a minnkota trolling motor to repair the brushes or bearings? My motor is running pretty loud and it sounds like a bearing is going out. Seems simple enough to repair it myself. Has anyone done it before?

    Bobber stops on fluorocarbon

    What do you guys use for fluorocarbon lines ? When i use a traditional bobber stop and tighten it down to prevent it moving when catching a fish the line tends to warp when moving the stop up or down.     I have an old model 94 lever action in the box and never shot. I took it out the other day and noticed some rust on a part of the receiver . Would I further ruin the value if I clean the gun with some rem oil ? Is there a better way to remove the rust safely? Thanks for your advice!
