Thinking of heading down and launching out of Beaver Bay tomorrow. Anyone know how much debris is floating around and how the water clarity is with the flows being what they are? Just trying to figure out if its worth the trip.

We've been putting in at langliers and the debris is no where near as bad as it was last month. Water is actually down a bit. Don't know if they are letting more out down south or what. Fishing sure sucked today tho.

The debris was horrid a few weeks ago, but that's all been cleared away to the shorelines. No problems navigating from Beaver Bay all the way south with the high water right now. The levels will begin fluctuating with Oahe and Sakakawea releasing more water. Most of the folks fishing were noticed along the shoreline near the windmill, Porcupine, and the point of 4mi bay.

I can't speak about floating trees but we all know the people in Bismarck are full of shit and if they all flush at once, I would be more worried about snagging a turd then hitting a floating tree. :;:stirthepot;:;rofl In all seriousness a good pair of polarized sun glasses and paying attention will save you a headache.
