Alkaline Lake Campground??

Does anyone know anything about what appears to be a private campground/boat ramp on East side of lake? Is it private can you pay to use, etc. Thank you for any information.

Streeter has a campground, showers, hookups, very reasonable.

Back to Alkaline, I've seen the campground and boat ramp. However, you never hear shit about it. Kinda makes me wonder if it's not built mostly for the out of state crowd. Seriously, you never hear a damn thing about it through normal advertising channels.

Was told he charges $25/day/boat to unload and park there. Don't know his contact info but someone from Streeter should know how to get in touch with him. Heard it's a very steep ramp.

The boat dock is privately owned real nice dock to use the 25 dollar fee is well worth the money unless you want to go way around and deal with all the boats at the public dock

LOL. $25 daily use fee for the boat ramp? I assumed that included a camping spot. Even Sconies can't be that dumb to pay that amount for use of a boat ramp, can they?

id pay that out there.

FWIW i havent fished there in 5 years.. and this is coming from a guy again van hook every wknd 200 boats busy ass boat ramp every wknd. I would back my boat down 3x in a day at van hook before I did it 1x at alkaline last time I was there the line was to the road, no parking, no courtesy dock, guys trying to load/unload as people backing down as parking on the gravel road...

Not positive but don't think that includes the camping. When was out that direction last year during deer season, the basically dirt road going in was virtually impassable after light rain. Not sure if has been graveled since then.
