Fired by O. Resigned from T’s cabinet. There are folks who reach a position in life or their career when they decide they’re uncompromising. Right or wrong, unless they’re “President”, CEO, Chairman, owner, etc. they find it hard to work “for” anyone anymore. Rex Tillerson was another example. Plenty sharp and well connected enough to be Sec of State, but, uncompromising in how he was going to do the job.
Unfortunately, there’s an enormous talent pool of outstanding minds that’d never take those jobs because of all the divisive publicity they have to deal with no matter who they work for.
