Well I have started a project of removing the old carpet out of my boat(fiberglass). I pulled the carpet already and tyvek suited up with a respirator and used a palm sander with 40 grit to take all the glue off. I still have some small pockets of glue that I can't get off with the sander. I know there are tons of glue removals out there but I am really trying to find something that wont leave a nasty residue. I am going back over the floor with a epoxy primer from Tuff coat and then the polyurethane rubber flakes paint. Before I prime I will be whipping everything down with de natured alcohol. Let me know what you have used for glue removal. Thanks.

If it’s that hard to get off I wouldn’t be concerned about it. Just go over top of it
