All this talk of broken windshields has me wondering if there are any good options out there for windshield protectors. I see Truxedo makes one as does a guy from MT. What do you guys use? This is for a 1900 Pro V if it matters....

20170424_135415.jpg this is what I use. I've been through the broken windshield dilemma before. $250 of cheap insurance. The truxedo covers are kind of chincy in my opinion.

What make/model and where would one acquire such a thing?

Talk to Carey at six mile corner. Brian in the upholstery shop can make you a windshield protector and they work great. He made on for my buddies Yarcraft 209 and it's awesome!

I think the biggest benefit of one of these is the keeping of your windshield free from small pits that come with age and miles. My 2004 windshield on the Lund is getting to the point where it's a pain to see through even when clean. My next boat will have something!

Thanks for the input. I just want to make sure the thing will stay on at 65 mph! Both were the options I looked at.
