Do you have to Gorilla glue the winch part to the floor, or can you just screw it down?

That's cool but not for that price tag. Ouch. I could do a lot of fish for 3400$

I need to come across one in a pub.
Watching another of his FB videos he talks of it being used mainly as trade show and commercial retail equipment demos for fishing gear ect not really meant to be used as a game the way it is described.

Even if cost was not an issue it looks to me like a toy that would quickly lose its appeal. Kind of like a golf simulator in the summer. Real fish would far outweigh the simulator

I seen this at my high school prom after party back in 1999. Or something similar. Someone has to have it where you can rent it.

I played one back about that time too. Fun for about 10 minutes.

True, but tuna are incredibly scarce in ND. For that matter, fish over 25 lbs period, are pretty scarce here.

Still, I would have a hard time justifying it even at 1/10th the price. Especially given that I have no rod/reel that would make it as fun as the video shows. However, I could see it being useful at a tradeshow, specializing in salt water equipment.

I most certainly would make use of this device at Scheels when selecting rods/reels. What a fantastic way to truly get a feel for a rod/reel combo's behavior/touch.

They feature freshwater settings as well - it's not all big saltwater gamefish. Trout, Black Bass, Zander, Pike, Carp, Catfish, etc.

I agree with a couple others on here. No need for it at home, but in store would be neat as well as a bar game.

$3400...You could just attach it to a big old cable wheel and pay your buddy in beers to provide the resistance and runs, while watching TV
