I put my trail cam out last week and at the first check I had 2873 pics on a 1 pic 5 sec delay setting. I was intrigued and learned a valuable lesson that day. I wasn't aware that 2 does and a fawn could CAMP OUT 24 HOURS A DAY FOR 6 DAYS ON A BAIT PILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than about a dozen pics of raccoons, it's just pic after pic of a dry doe with a ripped ear and another doe with her spotted fawn. What a wet blanket.

Pics from last year and his sheds

- - - Updated - - -

IMG_0487.jpgIMG_0619.jpgAnd here he is this year. A really old buck that I struggled to find all summer. He hadn't been on camera since that trail cam pic August 22. The first night I sat,Sept 4, I couldn't believe me eyes when I saw him. Good times

Man i hope you get a chance at that guy Vollmer. The few times I've had a true giant on camera, i have never had an opportunity to stick em. He kind of reminds me of this guy from a few years ago.

I hear ya, Bfishn. Gonna hunt hard here for a bit, and hopefully get lucky.

That deer you have a pic of is a true stud!

That was the one and only pic i had of that deer that year. I hunted hard during bow and never saw him. I also had a rifle tag that year and wasn't going to shoot anything but him. I only saw him for one split second, as i was driving down a prairie trail one morning he stood up from a rock pile and was in the corn immediately, there was just way to much corn standing that year. I ended up finally settling for an average 5x5 on the last Saturday.
