Little heart pond

My niece and nephews (under 5) are camped down at Ft. Lincoln this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck in the past out there. If there would be enough "action" to keep them busy, or if I'm better off telling them to come into town and crush bluegill in one of the bays.

How did you end up? That pond is so shallow I would have to think most trout don't last to long in the summer heat. That pond would definitely work better with catfish or some other warm water fish.
