The worst of the weather looks to be in north central ND. Snowing in Bismarck now. Luckily I managed to plant potatoes yesterday and put the Preen down before the weeds go crazy.

I really enjoy nice spring days. All five of them anyway.

Friggin gopher must have nicked my electricity coming in to house last fall before I could kill him. Lost power to half the house early last night. Had to shut off all heavy app. like water heater, electric furnace and dryer. Electrician did a little jumping work in breaker box so we have 110 through out the house so deep freezes and refer will still cool. Why does this crap always happen on weekend. Run the top burners on gas stove to keep the chill off. Crew comming on Monday to dig up electric line and fix.$$$$$$$$$$$

WTF!! I now its North Dakota and I've been living here all my life but for shit sake Mother Nature turn up the heat a little. Its 54 here out side and the temp in the house was 60 degrees so I kicked the heat on to warm up a bit. Beings I'm complaining it will probably be 90+ degrees in 2 weeks. ;:;banghead

Lovvve me some 66-77 degree weather.. Fishing sure sucked on dl this weekend, water needs to warm up, but the bugs would have been wayyyy worse than they already were. Pike were hungry for practice and beer was ice cold, ill take it!

40 degrees at Lake Metigoshe at 10:00 am today ... warmed all the way up to 43 by 4:00 pm and then back to 40 by 8:00 pm. Not much boat activity on the Lake! If we had had these temps on Friday, the half inch of rain we had would have been 6" of SNOW!

I'll fish when I don't need longjohns and a winter parka to go out in the boat, and when I don't need to put the beer in the cooler w/out ice so it doesn't freeze while fishing.

I remember in college when underaged and needing to keep the beer in the back seat because it would freeze in the trunk.
