Let's get to 75 and let'er buck towards Fargo so they have use for the million sandbags they talk about all day long on the radio and news channels

Hahaha the forecast is so favorable for a less-than-disaster flood it's not even funny. Methinks the local gub'ment is pushing this for the diversion crowd just a wee bit...

With the river still locked in ice and the Hart jamming up we are doing a decent impression of spring 09! Little less ammo to work with this time but should still be interesting.... especially for the guys on Fox bitching about the new dike being built!

14 day Cold Cold Cold -- dry dry dry I drove a rod into the ground down 2 feet about a yard from my foundation --- it sank like nothing was froze -- yet very little water in the sump --- the ground is so dry from this damn cold.

It will be more interesting for the guys further south on the Missouri. Dealing with flooding and the stuff up north hasn't let go yet. Anybody know when they will ramp up releases at garrison

Well if anything they will have to reduce it with Bismarck floating on the razor edge of an ice Jam and the river steadily Rising and only a foot short of where she was last summer at her Peak and Mandan coming in within a foot of the highest level they've ever seen on the heart River last night. If that ice jam on the heart kicks out underneath the Missouri's ice we're going to have an instant repeat it 2009 in a big hurry. Currently they're letting 13,600 out of her and she's taking in something like 67,000 and oahe is all but turned off at this point.

Not liking that temp, moisture, wind combination. Might be tough on power lines, trees etc. And your right we do need the moisture.

Nothing down here in the SE corner. I was hoping to see 6+ on the ground this morning and adding to it all day

I say it's perfect weather tomorrow to go hit the honey hole for a new state record.... might be the only guy fishing so your odds will be great
Plus with reduced visibility nobody will be able to tell that you snagged it!
