Saw allot of high birds as well but so far this morning they have all been specks.

Your not looking high enough dean. Ive seen quite a few flocks 500-2000 way the hell up there crusing north over bismarck today.

Second that. Drove through there last night and almost every corn field had 5k + birds.

Drove from Fargo to Bis on Friday. They are pretty thick the whole way.

Supposed to be going on a hunt April 25-27 up by DL. Kind got the hunch the birds will be in Canada by then.

Yea I wrapped it all up and figured there were plenty of others to cut up.. They were just thick around here trying to stay north of the storm the last few days. Wanted to throw the decoys out this morning but baby's Dr appt and pics took precedence.

Hopefully they stick around and we get some juvie action before spring fishing gets hot.

I’ve been told by a couple buddies that know lots more about waterfowl than myself that this year was a really bad year for juvies. So hunting was expected to suck. Is that accurate?
