Been quite a bit of moisture as a whole but I don't think it will bring the river up enough to make an impact, things look pretty good so far. I know I talked to a few of you last year on saturday morning and there was some guys that wanted to get in on the mini golf pub crawl but they changed their date to last weekend, noticeable fewer teams this year. Hopefully we will be back on track next year. Maybe I'll catch up with some of you for a beer or two. Good luck!

Son and a couple of his buddies were done in 3 hours today. Scenic sports posted, 205 snagged today for a season total of 326 total for the season.

Made it to the confluence about 4pm Friday. Caught this one on about the 15th cast. Weighed 70.5lbs. Our group of 3 had our fish by the end of the day Friday. Lots of fish being caught while we were there. Was nice to run into Kickemup again and catch up and have a beer or two!

I made a quick trip to do some catch and release. I borrowed a friends rod/reel and snapped the 20 year old line on two fish before I got pissed and put on new line. Then snagged a couple more.

The one was damn near black.

Made our annual trip to the confluence last week. It was a wonderful trip once again. Ended the trip with 4 fish and kept a 42lb. It was good to see fj40 and walleye guy. Our resident lawn gnome (KDM) made a appearance and his wife made some great food.

Our group did well! Caught 4 nice fish on catch and release and 8 out of 14 on catch and keep days. First batch almost done in the smoker.
