I have a 2019 Lund Adventure 1675 sport. During the break in procedures I noticed that anytime I got above 3000 rpms there would be a stream of water shoot up on the side that the transducer is on. What do you think could be causing this? Here is what I am talking about:

It's just the way the water hits the transducer and sprays up in the air would be my guess.... if there is a gap in your mounting bracket take some electrical tape and wrap it around the mount so there is no gap for the water to go through.... doing that will help allot... or you can go online and buy a plug for it depending on what transducer you have

I have a transducer plate installed and I think that maybe the transducer is sitting too low. Here is the transducer as it is mounted on my boat:1.jpg2.jpg

Wrap the area circled in electric tape...... that's where the rooster is coming from. If you raise it you might lose your 2d for high speed graphing

You want it level with the bottom of ur boat, or even slightly higher. It won’t effect your reading at all and if you happen to hid a floating object it won’t bust your shit all up

I’ll raise it up in the morning. I’ll also tape it up and take it for a spin. If it fixes it I would like something a little nicer lol. I wonder if humminbird offers a plug for that?

I didn't raise mine on the zv18 and tapped it up good and fixed the problem.... if you do a good job with the tape it's not even noticeable unless you really look at it.... go online and see if they make a plug for it

After 1.2 minutes of google searching by the team at Fly Carpin’s Downhome Country Web Searching, our team of experts has determined Humminbird will send you a unit specific rubber plug that fits in the gap and eliminates the rooster tail

If you get to Bismarck (Lincoln) I have an extra plug that should fit that you can have. I am not sure you problem is the hole needing plugging as the transducer is to low, looking at the picture I see 2 water streams which to me would indicate going around each side of the transducer. If not effecting your readings at speed overall it doesn't hurt anything, just a cosmetic look thing. dukgnfsn

This. Had the exact same issue with mine, the whole dead deck of my boat was getting soaked. Humminbird customer service will send you a new bracket kit with the plug in it. Works good.
