      Online Poker

Anyone here still playing online poker for real money? I played all the time back in college, but haven't tried playing since they put all the restrictions in place 10+ years ago. I'd like to start playing again if I can find a way to do it legally and not have to worry about sketchy offshore companies when depositing/withdrawing funds.

      I play on Ignition Casino.

it's still offshore, but I've never had any issues with deposits or getting paid.

Unless you live in a few select states I believe it’s still illegal, it’s up to you if it’s worth the risk of sending money offshore and trusting that no other players are seeing the cards. It’s a big no for me.

Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.

Don't play poker, but I frequent the sports books on Bovada. Getting paid is easy and effortless select how much you want to withdraw check shows up week later from some dummy company(my last one was from a steel company in Vancouver) . The only real pain is the check is from out of country so the bank charges me $10 to process it. Now if ND would just get the sportsbooks open a person wouldn't have to go offshore and they could take my money.

I don’t play much anymore but still have a Bovada account. Never had any problems depositing or withdrawing. We have live legal poker here in MT so it’s always nice to have that cash right in front of you. Plus like Bfshin said it’s easier to know for sure someone isn’t seeing the cards, that’s what got the most popular site shut down awhile back.

What part of the state are you in? I miss the live games more than anything! We don't have anything remotely close to Bismarck, other than some big home games that have gotten out of control.

I'm a couple blocks into the MT side of the border on highway 200. Live hold 'em most nights and quite a few tourneys. Last week we had 4 days of satellites with main event being on sunday. https://www.facebook.com/doublebarrelpokerroom/ https://www.bakkenpoker.com/

Is there still a bunch of team playing that goes on out in Fairview or are the games more legit now, nothing like getting maxed raised every time one of four players at a 6-8 person table gets a hand. I haven't played there in 10 years, but it was still nice to get in on some live games. especially the hi-lo Omaha.

I remember that awhile ago, I know the exact crew you are talking about, playing hi-lo wasn't much different than pushing the button on a poker machine. With the max bet @ $10 everyone just max raised at it, if you hit one out of every 8 times you're still even, so alot of guys just did that. Anyway hold 'em here is no limit, with the pot capped at $800 per state law. Keeps things a little more straight. The game accross the street was usually half house players and that caused some aggrivation for some folks. That game has been gone for a couple years. Omaha is played alot on mondays and sometimes weekends if there is enough interest to start a table.
